How should I dress for my photography session?

We recommend choosing comfortable clothing that reflects your personal style. Solid colors or subtle patterns often photograph well. We'll provide a detailed guide after booking, but don't stress too much – the most important thing is to feel good!

When is the best time to do newborn photos?

The ideal time for newborn photos is typically within the first 5-14 days after birth. This is when babies are still very sleepy and flexible for those adorable poses. However, we're always happy to discuss options for slightly older newborns too.

How fast will I receive my photos?

We know you're excited to see your memories! Our typical turnaround time for delivering your edited gallery is 2-3 weeks from your session date. We'll keep you updated every step of the way.

Do you have a referral program?

How do I book a photography session with Ava Parkin Photography?

The easiest way to book your session is to send an email to avaparkinphotograpghy@gmail.com. We'll promptly reply with a short questionnaire to gather some initial details about your vision and needs.

What advice do you have for clients who might feel nervous about their session?

Please don't stress about finding the perfect outfit or if your children are running around! My goal is to capture genuine moments and emotions. I promise to guide you through the process, make everyone feel comfortable, and ensure the photos look amazing and are something you will truly love and cherish. Relax, enjoy the moment, and let me handle the rest!

Payment Policy

All sessions are paid in full through Square at the time of booking.

A $40 non-refundable deposit is included in your total session payment and secures your selected date and time.

Your session is not confirmed until full payment has been received.

 

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

The $40 deposit portion of your payment is non-refundable under all circumstances.

If you need to reschedule, you may transfer your payment one time to a new available date with at least 48 hours’ notice.

Cancellations made less than 48 hours before your session will forfeit the $40 deposit and require a new deposit to rebook.

In the event of unsafe weather conditions, your session will be rescheduled at no additional charge.
